What It Is

A shared patrol program, run like enterprise security.

The Community Watch is a membership program for residential streets, gated communities, condo associations, and small business blocks. Members share a dedicated patrol route, which makes professional coverage affordable for a single home — with the same technology, reporting, and accountability we deploy for corporate clients.

  • Uniformed, licensed officers in marked vehicles
  • Randomized patrol passes so patterns can't be predicted
  • GPS-verified checkpoints at member properties
  • Documented incident reports with photos
  • Member alerts about real, verified activity
  • Direct 24/7 dispatch line for members

Brooklyn

Private security patrol, based in Brooklyn.

Community Watch is the mobile patrol membership. A stationed officer is a different post and is quoted on its own.

What a Brooklyn patrol membership is.

The company address is 5314 16th Avenue, Suite 238, Brooklyn, NY 11204, in ZIP code 11204. That suite is the business address, not a public walk-in lobby. Brooklyn homes, blocks, and associations enroll in Community Watch and share a marked-car route with a minimum number of documented property checks. Residential plans start at $159 a month.

A new area activates at a 10-home minimum, unless patrols are already operating there. This page does not name a Brooklyn neighborhood as an active route. If you want a car on your block, call 347-991-0121 or enroll and name the address.

How Membership Works

From sign-up to first patrol.

A simple, documented onboarding — most neighborhoods are live within days of enrollment.

01

Your Community Joins

Neighbors enroll their properties in the Tristate Security Patrol Community Patrol program.

02

Your Community Activates

Once the minimum number of participating homes required to launch service in a new area is reached, Community Patrol service can be activated.

03

We Add Your Community to Our Patrol Network

Officers conduct randomized mobile patrols throughout participating communities and complete the minimum documented property checks included with each member's selected plan.

04

You Receive Proof of Service

Completed property checks are documented so members can see when their property was checked and review available patrol information.

Coverage when it matters

Most residential activity happens overnight and during predictable away-hours. Watch routes concentrate patrol passes exactly there — and randomize the timing.

New Community Activation

10-Home Community Activation Minimum

New areas activate once enough neighbors enroll. You can register your home before your community reaches the activation minimum — you're only activated for service once your community launches.

If Tristate Security Patrol already has patrol operations or sufficient coverage in your area, your community can be activated without reaching 10 homes.

Member Benefits

What every member gets.

Visible marked patrols

Branded patrol vehicles on your street, at random intervals — visible deterrence neighbors and would-be intruders both notice.

GPS-verified property checks

Every pass and every checkpoint is logged with time and location, so you can see exactly when your home was checked.

Vacation & travel checks

Traveling? Flag your home and officers add exterior checks — doors, gates, packages, and anything out of place.

Incident reporting with photos

Suspicious activity is documented with notes and photos, and shared with members and local law enforcement when appropriate.

Resident alerts

Members receive alerts about incidents and patterns on the route — not rumors, but documented activity from our officers.

Priority dispatch response

A direct line to 24/7 dispatch. Members are prioritized for response by the officer already assigned to your area.

Membership FAQ

Questions neighbors ask.

Where is Community Watch available?

Community Watch is available in New York City only for now.

How is membership priced?

Membership is priced per participating home or unit, based on the size of the neighborhood and how many patrol passes you want per night. The more homes that join, the lower the cost for everyone. We provide a written proposal before anything is signed.

Is there a minimum number of homes?

New areas activate at a 10-home minimum. You can register your home before your community reaches it — we'll help you organize neighbors and hold your spot. If we already patrol your area, your community can be activated sooner.

Are patrol officers armed or unarmed?

Community Watch routes are run by uniformed, licensed officers in marked vehicles. Both unarmed and armed postures are available; we'll recommend what fits your neighborhood's risk profile.

Can an HOA enroll on behalf of everyone?

Yes. HOAs and block associations can enroll as a single account with one invoice, shared reporting, and a named account manager. Individual homeowners can also join on their own.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. Memberships are month-to-month after the initial term, with written notice. There are no long-term lock-ins for residential members.

Ready to put patrols on your street?

Enrollment takes two minutes. A specialist follows up within one business day.
