Security company in New Jersey.
Tristate Security Patrol’s New Jersey list is specific: Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, Edison, and Paterson. Those cities are on the coverage page. This page does not add the rest of the state, and it does not claim a New Jersey office.
The business address is still 5314 16th Avenue, Suite 238, Brooklyn, NY 11204. Call 347-991-0121 and say which of those cities the site is in. Officers who work in New Jersey need New Jersey SORA credentials. A New York guard card is not a substitute.
For most standard posts, uniformed officers are scheduled within 24–48 hours. Emergency coverage is coordinated through 24/7 dispatch.
North Jersey cities the site already names.
Newark, Jersey City, and Hoboken are dense and close to the Hudson. Edison and Paterson are further inland, with different commercial strips and housing. A quote has to name the city because the drive from Brooklyn and the licensing are not the same job as a Brooklyn post.
Services people ask for are armed and unarmed officers, commercial patrol, and events. Fire watch in New Jersey follows the local fire official, not FDNY. This batch does not include a New Jersey fire-watch sales page.

Newark
Commercial and residential posts in the city named on the coverage list.
Jersey City and Hoboken
Buildings and storefronts in those Hudson County cities.
Edison and Paterson
The two other New Jersey cities the coverage page lists.
Armed officers
SORA armed certification plus a New Jersey carry credential. Details are on the New Jersey armed page.
Unarmed officers
SORA yellow-card path: training, fingerprints, and a two-year certification cycle.
Patrol
Scheduled mobile or stationed posts are quoted. The shared Community Watch membership is New York City only.
No New Jersey storefront is listed.
Searches for security companies in North Jersey often assume a local office. The only street address Tristate publishes is in Brooklyn. New Jersey work is scheduled from that company for the five cities above. If your property is outside that list, say so on the quote. Do not assume a page that does not exist.
Hudson river crossings affect start times. A same-day emergency request still goes to 24/7 dispatch, and the existing site language is that emergency coverage can be mobilized quickly. It does not promise a minute count through the tunnel or over a bridge.
Community Watch, the shared neighborhood membership, is available in New York City only. A New Jersey property that needs an officer is quoted as a post, not enrolled as that membership.
SORA is the New Jersey credential.
The New Jersey State Police administer the Security Officer Registration Act. The State Police page says an unarmed security officer must complete a 24-hour SORA course from a certified instructor, with renewal every two years after an 8-hour refresher, and that there is no reciprocity with other states. Fingerprints are required.
Armed certification is separate. The same page says the armed certification alone does not allow you to possess a firearm. The officer must have a New Jersey concealed-carry permit or be in the retired police officer program. Renewal of the armed certification is every year with an 8-hour refresher.
Licensed officers, documented work.
Founded in 2021. New York registration and New Jersey SORA are different systems, and posts are staffed with the credential the state of the job requires.
The client portal and GPS checks apply to patrol services the way the technology page describes them. They do not replace a SORA card.
What is published, and what is quoted.
Armed New Jersey posts are quoted. Commercial patrol, for a site in the five listed cities, starts at $399 a month. Community Watch, the shared residential membership, is New York City only. No hourly New Jersey rate is published.
